The Turbo Series meter should only be mounted horizontaly with the register in the upright position.

Strainers are highly recommended but not required where there is a minimum of 10 straight pipe diameters upstream of the meter to insure proper operation.

To ensure proper flow profiles it is recommended that a minimum of 5 straight pipe diameters after the strainer be installed.
